2025 Wrap Up

2025: A Year of Growth, at Keeping Company

2025 was a big year for Keeping Company. Technically only our second year of existence, it was the year where things truly took off — artistically, structurally, and emotionally. It was a year of creation, challenges, learning, and above all, many shows with all of you.

Hats 2 Heads on the Road

Our show Hats 2 Heads toured throughout the year, with 27 performances across Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. With each show, the piece continued to mature, settling into a form that feels solid, trustworthy, and alive. It has become a real pleasure to perform. It is a show we feel proud to share and excited to bring to new audiences.

The Creation of Jitter

In 2025, we were incredibly grateful to receive €20,000 in funding from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles to support the creation of our new show, Jitter. This support was essential in allowing us the time, space, and resources to fully commit to the project.

We completed the final five weeks of creation and premiered Jitter on June 29th in Zaventem. After the premiere, the show hit the road and was performed 11 times. Due to an unexpected burnout mid-tour, we decided to prioritize recovery and cancelled the end of our planned summer season. After resting over the winter, we are looking forward to bringing Jitter back to the streets and sharing the project with you all.

And Then There’s Boombox

We can’t forget about Boombox, which we pitched to young audiences in April and hope to bring to schools and community centers in 2026 and 2027. Since then, the show has been placed on the back burner, patiently waiting to be taken out, dusted off, and reintroduced. We’re happy to share that Boombox will return for performances this coming summer in Dresden, Germany.

Thank you!

We have been deeply touched by the outpouring of support surrounding Jitter. From the residency spaces, financial partners, creative collaborators, festivals and performance spaces to the unwavering support of La Chouette Diffusion. This project exists because of the wide and generous community around us.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Our hope is to carry many of the cancelled performances forward into 2026, and to finally share Jitter with all of you who were waiting to see it.

We’re already looking ahead with excitement, including an upcoming bike tour with Jitter planned for July, produced by Centre Culturel du Brabant Wallon — with more dates and news to come soon.

Stay tuned.
And thank you for being part of the journey so far.
